The Bio

At a young age I was exposed to the Old Ways, by his father, a Shaman, Healer and Warrior. At the age of 16 he rebelled and embarked upon an unconscious odyssey of the self, to find Self, within the belly of the beast.
Many, many moons later, after a staccato of incidents, circumstances, trials & tribulations, what he has come to call “my Trial of Fire”, his life ended as he knew it, he was Awakened, reborn.
This Spiritual Rebirth is marked by his father’s death, which took place on April 17, 2002. “On his deathbed he shared with me a word of wisdom that initiated the fire that ignited my Heart & illuminated my Soul. The rest is the present, for it is here that one resides, in the eternal moment, the rendezvous point with the Spirit.”
I have walked this Path in a Sacred manner ever since. Expanding my awareness, exploring the depths of my Being and fulfilling my Purpose within this plane of existence: to Teach, Help, Heal & Unify.

The Book… Maximvs is also the author of the Spiritual Warrior Manifesto, his first publication that debuts in January of 2009. The Spiritual Warrior Manifesto is a catylyst for internal change thru Spiritual & personal development. He is currently writing his 2nd book due in 2013

While taking a break can seem to nourish the soul, often this type of ‘personal space’ is eroded by others that we share our breaks and holidays with. Papaya Extract Kills Cancer Cells

Lab tests on papaya extract shows that it can kill tumor cells from cervix, breast, liver, lung and pancreatic cancer. The tests, using extracts made from dried papaya leaves, showed that the anticancer effects were stronger when cells received larger doses of the tea.

The research, published in the Journal of Ethnopharmacology, also demonstrated that papaya leaf extract helps regulate the immune system, potentially helping the body fight off cancers. And researcher Bharat B. Aggarwal, Ph.D., at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, says the study results are so convincing he now eats a serving of papaya every day.

Why go on a Wellness Retreat?

Many people ask me why they should use their only vacation time to go on a wellness retreat. I feel this is a really great question – one that deserves a serious reply. We lead very busy lives these days, and our attention is pulled in so many directions. It is so easy to walk through our lives like a roller coaster…constantly moving going around a track. This lack of awareness and the tendency to put the computer of our minds on auto-drive helps create life situations that are not pleasant, not beautiful.

For the most part our programming is set to sabotage us at every turn, to whisper things in our head that are not life supportive. Why is this? Well, our lifestyle has taught us to go with the flow where the flow is not necessarily to our health benefit.  Folks at work eating donuts and drinking coffee, lunch at the dollar menu…you know.  And dinner…is whatever is quick and painless. When we are surrounded by others that are programmed the exact same way, it is challenging to get out of these types of behavior and thinking patterns even though we want to.

That is where a wellness retreat enters into the picture! By allowing your dream of eating healthfully, breathing, enjoying time with like minds and to actually experience life in a totally different way out of your regular surroundings. It allows you to take a step back from the hectic day to day routine. A friend reflects on Fasting

Fasting
I put it at the top of the list as being the most truthful beginning of the healing process. We certainly cannot go looking for a cure in our weakened condition or we will be tricked again for sure.
Fasting is the experience of letting go, opening up and draining our cells of contamination, irritations as well as the old stagnant cellular memories — conditions that make cancer, M.S., weak hearts and weak minds and sad eyes. The whole event of self-healing is pure in its essence and the days of not eating, of pain and tears are part of cleansing. We have begun to return to balance.
For centuries, we have been like a clenched fist and now as it opens, we feel the pain as we rise out of this unnatural dying process. Our great independence is returning as we learn to trust this great home, this body that we live in. It is resolving its own irritation, congestion and imbalance. We are returning to a place where the body doesn’t have to work so hard.
Many people come to me to learn how to prepare for surgery, chemotherapy or radiation. Regardless of how we choose to deal with our conditions, we must create a healing environment and supply all the needs of the body from A to Z. It is perfectly wise to fast in preparation for the enormous negativity of medicine that causes deadly side effect. Through fasting, the body’s ability to absorb nutrients greatly improves, the elimination organs become more efficient, the nervous system stronger, and a craving for cleaner food replaces the craving for fried chicken. This is more important than the medicine because it has no negative side-effects. The stage is now set for healing.
There are cases where cancer is on such a rampage that it can only be stopped by surgery, chemo and radiation. Evidence of this is everywhere. Many of these cases still drag on 20 years into the treatment. I believe that by implementing the healing prescription of fasting at early detection, the use of devastating cure techniques can often be avoided or at least minimized.
Learn about fasting, educate yourself and then do your own double blind study. Find someone who understands the reversal process to coach you through your first couple of fasts and, of course, find anything you can get your hands on that was written by Herbert Shelton. Fasting is the beginning of life’s journey.
During your fast, spend most of this precious time going inside. Don’t waste it by listening to the burdens of other fasters, if you are in a group setting. The highest human endeavour is to find oneself and understand the wisdom of the ancient Chinese proverb: “If you have a disease, don’t look for a cure, find your balance.” Fasting opens the door to our center. As your body frees itself from high blood pressure, diabetes, constipation and fatigue, you will have found the key to real living, because to understand the true cause of all these disorders, and to remove this cause is to embrace the true meaning of freedom.
